Sounds marvelous! I'd love to see you and catch up with you in person. Unfortunately I don't get into the city too often, but Bernie suggested that the two of you might come out here for a visit (and a meal?). I'm afraid my cooking skills don't match yours any more, but we can do something. It would be JUST GREAT! I listen to it in my garden and on my daily runs. I too keep bees. This is my second year. My last hive was lost to a severe winter in Nebraska.... This year my Carnolian Bees arein my Garden in Lincoln Neb. I love having them so close. In the morning, a cup of coffe and my 10 year dog Waldo, savor the bees as they and I wake up. In the afternoon, I watch them guard the hive. I also enjoy when they challenge Waldo as she sits sedately panting nearby on the patio. Ahh Joy!
